Sweden needs growth, and Sweden’s entrepreneurs need inspiring role models. Since 2000, the business newspaper Dagens Industri has therefore produced a list of the country’s fastest-growing companies: Sweden’s Gazelles.

Medius is extremely proud to have been named a Gazelle company for the third year running. The criteria are strict, and less than one percent of Sweden’s listed companies meet the requirements to be named a Gazelle company.

A Gazelle must have:
- published at least four annual reports.
- a turnover in excess of SEK 10 million.
- at least ten employees.
- increased its turnover continuously over the last three years.
- at least doubled its turnover during the same period. 
- recorded an overall operating profit for the four financial years.
- essentially grown organically, not through acquisitions or mergers.
- sound finances.

In Östergötland, Medius took sixth place among all professional categories, with growth of 429%. Medius also remains top of the list of the fastest growing IT companies in those counties that had already been nominated, i.e. Gotland, Östergötland, Jönköping, Kalmar, Kronoberg and Södermanland.
